I have tried to write this post a bazillion times, but each time I delete it and step away.  I guess I have just needed more time to heal and process the changes happening in our adoption process.  But slowly word is getting out so I realize that I need to "go public".

It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you we are no longer adopting Kadence.  Kadence is not meant to be our daughter.  God has other plans for her life and we know the He has her exactly where He wants her.  She is a beautiful little girl and we will continue to pray for her and her precious life.

So where does that leave us?

We are now back in waiting mode.  We are taking some time to pray about our precious daughter and waiting on God to guide us and direct us.  We know that His timing is perfect and until then....we will trust in that!  We will continue to keep you all updated and hopefully be able to once again share in the amazing news of a referral!

ADOPTION AUCTION:
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!  Our auction was a huge success and we feel so blessed by the generosity of so many.  We are still gathering the bids and sending out items so once that is finished I will have a grand total!  But we are so excited to add this amazing chunk of change to our adoption fund!

We will continue to raise funds and save for our adoption because we know it is coming!  We know that one day soon we will welcome a precious baby girl into our forever family!!!

Adoption Auction

It's {finally} here...our adoption auction to raise money to bring our little girl home from St.Vincent!!

First of all, let me just say a big thank you to those of you who have been followers of this little blog in the last several months. Next, a big WELCOME to those of you who are visiting from another blog that you follow. And, last, but not least, I have to give a shout out to my amazing creative family, friends, and blog buddies who donated their goods to make this auction possible...THANK YOU!

So, on to the reason you are here...our Adoption Auction. I am SO excited for this auction! We have been given some amazing donations (mostly handmade!) from some great friends and from people who we've never even met! Here's how the auction will work:

1. Peruse the AWESOME items that are for sale during the auction (June 11, 2012 at 10:00am through June 15, 2012 at 11:59 p.m, central standard time).

2. Find the items you would like to bid on and leave a comment* with your bid, name, and e-mail address. (Your bid on most items will include shipping from Missouri, so please keep that in mind as you place it! :))

3. If you win, I will send you an E-mail requesting payment for the item and/or information about your requests (if the item is custom-made). Upon receiving payment via check or paypal, I will ship the item to you!

That's it...super easy! And, every last penny that you spend will go directly into our adoption fund to bring Kadence home!!

So, without further ado...the auction items! (Click on each item for it's bid page.) Happy shopping!!!
